waited Terms of Use

1. Who we are

waited is published by [NAME OF THE COMPANY OR PUBLISHER], [LEGAL FORM], [ADDRESS], [SIREN NUMBER], reachable at [CONTACT EMAIL].

2. Access to the service

  • waited is restricted to persons aged 16 or over. By creating an account, you confirm that you are at least 16 years old.
  • An account is personal. You are responsible for your username, your password and your recovery code.
  • We may suspend or delete an account that does not comply with these terms.

3. What you may send

You send photos and messages only to people who follow you and whom you follow (friends). It is prohibited to send:

  • any nude or sexual photo;
  • any content involving or depicting a minor in a sexual or degrading manner (such content is reported to the authorities);
  • a photo of a person without their consent;
  • harassment, threats, insults, hateful or discriminatory content;
  • violent or illegal content, or content that incites dangerous acts;
  • advertising, spam or scams.

The challenges you propose must remain respectful. It is prohibited to ask someone to do something dangerous, humiliating, illegal or sexual in nature.

4. Reporting and blocking

  • You can block someone at any time. You no longer follow each other, and they can no longer find you, write to you or send you photos.
  • You can report a person, a message or a photo. As photos are encrypted, reporting a photo transmits the photo to our moderation team, with your consent.
  • We review reports, giving priority to those concerning minors. Possible sanctions: warning, suspension, permanent deletion of the account, and reporting to the authorities where required by law.

5. Photos, screenshots and saving

The sender chooses whether their photo may be captured or saved. waited blocks screenshots when the phone's operating system allows it, but no application can prevent the screen from being photographed with another device. Do not send anything you would not want to see shared.

6. Lifetime of photos

Each photo is automatically deleted no later than 30 days after it is sent (earlier depending on the sender's setting). The sender may cancel a sending within 2 minutes, and delete a photo at any time once it has been revealed. A photo that is still locked on the deletion date is deleted without having been revealed.

7. Credits

Credits earned through challenges can only be used in the conversation in which they were earned. Universal credits are purchased in the app in accordance with the terms of sale. No credit has any monetary value or can be exchanged for money.

8. Account deletion

You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Account and security. Your data is then erased, as provided for in the privacy policy. Any remaining credits are lost.

9. Liability

Each user is responsible for what they send. We provide the service as is and do our best to keep it available and safe, without being able to guarantee permanent availability.

10. Changes and governing law

We may amend these terms; you will be notified in the app in the event of a significant change. These terms are governed by French law. [COMPETENT COURT / CONSUMER MEDIATOR].
